When you come in to Nontron one of the first things you notice is that Nontron is a typically medieval French town. It has all the character you would expect of this rich, green area of France. A town resting on the valley sides surrounded by forest and long open fields for as far as the eye can see. The house is no exception to this, situated in the original high street of Nontron it is a traditional 17th Century stone built town house. The view from the street is highly deceptive of what is on offer in side. Not to mention the stunning views from the garden. Where there is a specially designed oak beamed viewing platform from which you can sip a glass of chilled rosé whilst enjoying the view.

The house inside is friendly and becoming with plenty of space for all the family. The lounge and dinning area, which is open plan is a perfect example of is. There's plenty of seating around the dinning table and the lounge is furnished with comfortable chairs, coffee table and various paintings. In the lounge are patio doors that open out onto the courtyard area of the garden.

When you go out into the courtyard garden there is a BBQ and garden furniture, parasol, table and chairs, which all our guests love as they can eat outside any time of day. Ideal for the long, warm evenings, which you can all enjoy when in the French climate.

Garden

There are then steps that continue to take you into the rest of garden. Full of flowers and grass areas the garden is a wonderful place to relax in the sun. There is also a set of swings in the garden for the kids to enjoy. When you reach the end of the garden you come to the viewing platform from which you can see the town, valley and keep an eye on the kids.
